Matt is H-Town born and raised. He graduated from Stratford High School and spent five years there as the Young Life director. He loves Houston about as much as Hakeem loved the dream shake, and starting a business in his hometown — one that serves his friends and community in a tangible way — has always been the goal.
In 2020 he did it, launching Clutch Automotive and growing it into a multi-shop brand. Clutch Outdoor Co. is the same idea, pointed at everything outside — for homeowners, businesses, and HOAs alike. His favorite thing to build is a good spot to watch the game, and his yard philosophy is business in the front, turf in the back.
A few things about Matt: he has different colored eyes, plays the banjo, and hosts a Houston sports podcast with his brothers called Schwabcast.

Austin is a Northwest Houston native. He spent years in the car world — first as General Manager of Clutch Automotive’s North Shepherd shop, then at Hennessey Performance.
His favorite thing to build is a fire pit, which tracks: a fire and s’mores with the family is his idea of a perfect night. He’s also partial to salvia, which blooms most of the year and holds up to a Houston summer.
A few things about Austin: he’s a lifelong car guy, he and his wife are part of Risen Church in Cypress, and they recently bought a house in Tomball to embrace the country life — chickens and bees are next.
